Architecture Interior Design of Biblioteca of Azores
During my visit to Ponta Delgada – Azores, I saw unique architecture interior design projects, an extraordinary landscape, magnificent gardens. A minimalist approach to design, simplicity is stunning and hugely inspiring to the interior design.
Simple shape gives the impression of a bunker at first but then charm with its features. Here is no mistake with the construction use of eco-friendly materials: wood, stone, the building is heavily glazed so as to integrate with the environment. Huge glass skylights in the ceiling creates a light fixture for a separate structure on the surface, which gives clarity to all, in every detail thought out interior décor. Each is a separate reading room, has a different function but all thought-form one whole.
What impressed me the most was architecture of the university library. The combination of stylized concrete on a wooden floor tiles with a modern design of library premises to study is unique. The building impresses with simple solutions, but also perfectly fulfills its utility, educational function. This certainly is the building of a new age, modern yet cozy and functional, integrated with the environment.
It gave me a lot of thought, ideas and solutions for my work as an interior designer in New York. I hope that the attached photos will inspire you and show how to properly combine simplicity and modernity in interior design.
